99.5% Purity Purified Terephthalic Acid Pta is the abbreviation of Pure Terephthalic Acid (Pure Terephthalic Acid), at room temperature is white crystal or powder, low toxicity, flammable, is one of the important bulk organic raw materials. PTA is a solid powder, the mainstream storage is packaged in packaging bags, stored in the main port of East China. The main use of PTA is the production of polyester fiber (polyester filament and staple fiber), polyester bottle sheet and polyester film. More than 90% of the world's PTA is used to produce polyester (PET), and it takes 0.855 tons of PTA and 0.335 tons of MEG(ethylene glycol) to produce 1 ton of PET. In the domestic market, 75% of PTA is used to produce polyester fiber, mainly used in clothing and home textile fabrics; 20% is used for polyester bottle flakes, mainly used in various drinks, especially carbonated drinks packaging; 5% for polyester film, mainly used in packaging materials, film and tape.
